Iran to appear big at Kazakhstan filmfest

Iranian jury member as well as four Iran films is set to attend XIV Eurasia International Film Festival in Kazakhstan.

Iran filmmaker Amir Esfandiari will serve as a juror of 2018 Eurasia film event.

'In the Past' by Negin Aminzadeh and 'Voice' (SES) by Darioush Najafi Gol are two shorts from Iran to vie at the competition section of the event.

Feature films ‘The Home’ by Asghar Yousefinejad and ‘Blockage’ by Mohsen Qaraei are also to be screened out of competition.

The Eurasia International Film Festival is the major film forum in Central Asia with the aim to build the platform for successful cooperation between Asia and Europe.

The 14th edition of the Eurasia Filmfest is slated for July 1-7, 2018 in the Kazakh capital city of Astana.
